Cecilia Cuevas-Ramirez
President
Cecilia Cuevas-Ramirez is a 3rd-year student pharmacist at the Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy. She attended the University of Houston main campus where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Biology. She is a Certified Pharmacy Technician with CVS where she has recently completed her summer internship as a Pharmacist Intern. After graduation, she plans to continue growing her professional career with the company or complete a PGY1 Residency with a focus on Pediatric or Psychiatric Pharmacy. She would like to continue promoting and advocating for patient care.
William Pham
Vice President
William Pham is a 3rd-year professional student pharmacist at Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy. William Pham, born and raised in El Paso, Texas, completed his pharmaceutical prerequisite courses during his undergraduate years at Texas A&M University. William Pham’s first two years at the School of Pharmacy consisted of serving multiple leadership roles such as the Advocacy Co-Chair and Vice President Elect for SSHP, Fundraising Chair for APhA, and Chaplain for Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity. Now as Vice President-Elect for the 2024-2025 academic year, he will continue to serve SSHP by helping the organization grow, serve members and the community, and share the mission of ASHP and TSHP. Currently, Mr. Pham hopes to one day pursue a future career in Ambulatory Care at a Hospital or work in the VA with the Navy to help one day give back to his community.”
Trinidad Martinez
President-Elect
Trinidad Martinez is a second-year pharmacy student at the Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy. He is from Corpus Christi, Texas and attended Del Mar College where he obtained his Associates in Biology and Chemistry. Trinidad is a certified pharmacy technician and has gained his experience from H-E-B and more recently Memorial Pharmacy and Compounding. Following graduation, he hopes to pursue a residency program with a focus in Pediatrics or Ambulatory Care.
Savanna Stevens
Vice President-Elect
Savanna Stevens is a second-year pharmacy student at the Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy. She previously attended Hardin-Simmons University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with an Honors minor. She currently works at St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan, Texas as a pharmacy technician where she has implemented her current pharmacy knowledge and skills in her day-to-day tasks within the hospital. Savanna also serves as the Vice-President for the Texas A&M Health Student Advisory Council, is a member of the Texas A&M Chancellor’s Student Advisory Council, and is a supplemental instructor for the biochemistry course offered during the first year of pharmacy school at Texas A&M. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a residency program with a focus on either infectious disease or compounding pharmacy to continue her education and training to become a well-rounded pharmacist.
Joseph salinas
VP of Membership
Joseph Salinas is a 2nd year student at Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy. He is originally from Mission, TX and has obtained a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley as a first generation student. Much of his pharmacy experience comes from working as a certified technician and more recently as a pharmacist intern at CVS Pharmacy. Joseph is involved in Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, and now serves as VP of membership for SSHP. He hopes to obtain a residency to challenge and reinforce his knowledge of pharmacy at the institutional level.
Alexis George
Secretary
Alexis George is a 2nd-year pharmacy school student at Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy. She attended the University of Texas at Dallas where she earned her bachelor’s degree in healthcare studies. During her undergraduate schooling, she worked as a certified pharmacy technician at Kroger Pharmacy. She has continued working with this company, but recently transitioned from working as a pharmacy technician to a pharmacy intern this summer. Therefore, she is looking forward to starting rotations this fall and growing her knowledge and skills as a pharmacy intern. Furthermore, she is interested in pursuing a residency program after graduation, so that she can receive comprehensive training to become a clinical pharmacist.
Cristian Requenez
Treasurer (KV)
Cristian Requenez is a second year pharmacy student at Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy. He was born and raised in Corpus Christi, but moved to Lubbock to Attend Texas Tech University and received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry as well as an MBA and Master of Science in Data Science. He then worked as a data engineer for the Providence St. Joseph Health System during the beginning of the COVID pandemic until the start of his P1 year. Cristian wants to use all the skills he has learned to become a highly competent pharmacist.
Laelah bickham
Treasurer (CS)
Laelah Bickham is a second year pharmacy school student at Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy. She is from the small town of Boling, TX and earned her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition at TAMU. She completed a summer internship with H-E-B and broadened her understanding of how to apply what is learned in the classroom to real life situations. Laelah also serves as Historian for CPFI. Following graduation, she aims to take part in a residency program with hopes of becoming a versatile pharmacist.
mollie Schatz
Public Relations (CS)
Mollie Schatz is a 2nd-year pharmacy school student at Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy. She is originally from Bismarck, North Dakota but has lived in College Station since 2014. She attended Texas A&M and received her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2022. She is a certified pharmacy technician and works with Baylor Scott and White in their inpatient pharmacy. Mollie also serves as SSHP’s Oncology Committee Chair, the Director of Professional Programming for IPhO, and the Membership Chair for CPFI. She plans to pursue a residency or fellowship following graduation and has interests in oncology/hematology, drug development, and clinical research.
